Everyone has the willpower, i.e.freedom to make choices but everyone needs to know the truth to make the right choice.
Knowing the truth will help man to be freed from the error of making the wrong decision or wrong choice.
Jesus said you will know the truth. and the truth will make you free.
Who is the truth? Truth is a person and that person is Jesus. John 14:6.
What is the truth? The word of God is the truth
and every word of Jesus is the truth

Every truth you need to know to do good in life is in the Bible if you can read it. Search the Scripture for the truth; John 5:39
